Rubel down against US dollar, euro at BCSE
August 20, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.1674 against the US dollar at the August 20 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It also fell to 3.504 per euro but climbed to 4.4438 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.571 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (August 12– 16), the rubel fell by 0.86 percent against the dollar, 1.78 percent against the euro and 1.56 percent against the yuan. It gained 0.96 percent of its value against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency strengthened 1.34 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2024.
