Rubel down against US dollar, Russian currency at BCSE

August 16, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.1516 against the US dollar at the August 16 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also fell to 3.5465 per 100 Russian rubles but climbed to 3.47 per euro and 4.4224 per 10 Chinese yuan.

In the outgoing week (August 12– 16), the rubel fell by 0.86 percent against the dollar, 1.78 percent against the euro and 1.56 percent against the yuan. It gained 0.96 percent of its value against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency strengthened 1.34 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2024.
