Rubel hits annual low against US dollar on Nov. 1
November 1, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated against the US and EU currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
In today’s trading, it hit 3.3203 against the greenback, an annual low. The previous low of 3.3119 was reported two days ago.
The rubel fell to 3.6216 per euro. However, it rose to 3.4239 per 100 Russian rubles and 4.6717 per 10 yuan.
In the outgoing week (October 28–November 1), the rubel lost 0.72 percent against the dollar, 1.1 percent against the euro and 0.57 percent against the yuan, but gained 0.02 percent against the Russian currency.
The Belarusian currency lost 4.44 percent against the dollar in the first 10 months of 2024.
