Rubel rising against US dollar five sessions in a row

December 5, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.4795 against the US dollar at the December 5 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
The Belarusian currency also rose to 3.6721 per euro and 4.7996 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.3467 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (November 25-29), the rubel lost 4.18 percent of its value against the dollar, 5.63 percent against the euro and 4.08 percent against the Chinese yuan but gained 1.94 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency lost 8.34 percent of its value against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2024.
