Rubel climbs against US dollar, yuan on December 26

December 26, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.407 at the December 26 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 4.6895 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.58 per euro and 3.4094 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (December 16–20), the rubel gained 0.83 percent of its value against the dollar, 2.57 percent against the euro and 0.47 percent against the Chinese yuan but fell 0.94 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 8.34 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2024.
