Rubel rises against US dollar, yuan at week’s last trading session

January 24, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.4147 against the US dollar at the January 24 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency climbed to 4.6647 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.558 per euro and 3.4235 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing week (January 20 – 24), the rubel rose 1.74 percent against the dollar, 1.69 percent against the yuan and 0.62 percent against the euro but fell 1.69 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
