Rubel slides against US dollar, yuan at BCSE on January 29

January 29, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.4152 against the US dollar at the January 29 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency fell to 4.6736 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.4402 per 100 Russian rubles.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.57 against the euro.

Last week (January 20 – 24), the rubel rose 1.74 percent against the dollar, 1.69 percent against the yuan and 0.62 percent against the euro but fell 1.69 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
