Rubel ends week on positive note

February 14, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.2633 against the US dollar at the February 14 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency climbed to 3.3862 per euro and 4.4384 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.5393 per 100 Russian rubles.
In the outgoing week (February 10 – 14), the rubel climbed 3.73 percent against the dollar, 3.61 percent against the euro and 4.27 percent against the yuan but lost 2.49 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 1.73 percent against the dollar in January, after losing 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
