Rubel climbs against US dollar at BCSE on February 25

February 25, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.173 against the US dollar at the February 25 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency climbed to 3.32 per euro and 4.3148 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.5909 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (February 17 – 21), the rubel climbed 1.72 percent against the dollar, 1.07 percent against the euro and 1.68 percent against the yuan but lost 0.78 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 1.73 percent against the dollar in January, after losing 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
