Rubel down against key currencies at BCSE on February 27

February 27, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.177 against the US dollar at the February 27 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency also dropped to 3.3013 per euro, 4.3114 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.6114 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (February 17 – 21), the rubel climbed 1.72 percent against the dollar, 1.07 percent against the euro and 1.68 percent against the yuan but lost 0.78 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 1.73 percent against the dollar in January, after losing 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
