China opposes interference in Belarus’ politics – Xi says
December 4, Pozirk. China opposes interference by external forces in Belarus’ internal affairs, Chinese President Xi Jinping has told Alaksandar Łukašenka at their meeting in Beijing, China’s Xinhua reported.
The Chinese leader described both countries as important forces that are reforming and expanding the global governance system.
Beijing is ready to promote global development and security initiatives with Belarus as well as strengthen cooperation using multilateral mechanisms, such as the United Nations and Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Xi said.
More than 1.4 billion Chinese live happily and contribute to global development, while China’s experience in public administration is “worth studying,” Łukašenka said. The two leaders also discussed the Russian-Ukrainian war.
