April 26, Pozirk. Ukrainian authorities have ordered an urgent evacuation of patients and doctors from two Kyiv hospitals, including a children’s one, the city authorities said on Telegram.
They linked the evacuation to recent statements by Ivan Tertel in charge of the Belarusian Committee for State Security (KGB), who threatened unnamed “terrorists from Ukraine” in his speech at the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly on Thursday.
“The committee [KGB] is well aware of all these people, their activities and plans,” he said. “We act firmly and without hesitation following the wartime laws in the fight against terrorism. There are those killed and wounded among terrorists and their accomplices. There is no doubt that all of them will receive the punishment they deserve, even though they have chosen Kyiv hospitals at Bohatyrska 30 and 32 as their lair, where they are hiding behind the backs of sick children.”
Kyiv authorities refuted Tertel’s allegations as “outright lies and provocation,” taking his claims a warning of an impending attack.
