The Council of Ministers considered a package of next year’s targets at the meeting, according to its press office.
The government projects a rise of 4 percent in real income, 7.8 percent in investment, while exports of goods and services are expected to grow by 5.4 percent.
The government is set to keep inflation below 5 percent.
Speaking about the budget, Hałoŭčanka said that “a small increase of 7.8 percent” is anticipated in revenue, with receipts projected at 45.5 billion rubles. However, the government plans a deficit.
In January-June, gross domestic product rose by 5 percent year on year, said the National Statistical Committee in its preliminary assessment.
